SUMMARY:
The Department of the Treasury, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other federal agencies to comment on the proposed information collections listed below, in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
DATES:
Comments should be received on or before August 29, 2025 to be assured of consideration.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Title: The Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) Quarterly and Annual Reports, instructions and Treasury's Portal User Guide.
OMB Control Number: 1505-0269.
Type of Review: Extension without change of a currently approved collection.
Description: The HAF authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act, provides $9.961 billion to support homeowners facing financial hardship associated with COVID-19. HAF funds were distributed to states, U.S. Territories, and Indian Tribes. Funds from HAF may be used for assistance with mortgage payments, homeowner's insurance, utility payments, and other specified purposes. HAF grantees must submit quarterly and annual report forms on their utilization of HAF award funds. The information can be submitted electronically via Treasury's Portal. The information collection will permit Treasury to effectively monitor the HAF grantees' compliance with the requirements of the HAF Award Terms.
