Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc.; Notice of Revised Schedule for Environmental Review of the Cedar Vale Compressor Station Project

This notice identifies the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC or Commission) staff's revised schedule for the completion of the environmental assessment (EA) for Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc. (Southern Star) Cedar Vale Compressor Station Project (Project). 1 The first notice of schedule, issued on January 16, 2025, identified July 31, 2025 as the EA issuance date. However, Commission staff required additional time to further analyze alternative sites for the proposed compressor station. As a result, staff has revised the schedule for issuance of the EA. The EA will be issued for a 30-day comment period.

Per 18 CFR 157.22(a), the Commission's deadline for other agency's decisions applies unless a schedule is otherwise established by federal law.
