Certain Cut-to-Length Carbon-Quality Steel Plate From India, Indonesia, and the Republic of Korea: Final Results of Expedited Fourth Sunset Reviews of Countervailing Duty Orders

SUMMARY:
The U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) finds that revocation of the countervailing duty (CVD) orders on certain cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate (CTL plate) from India, Indonesia, and the Republic of Korea (Korea) would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of a countervailable subsidy at the levels indicated in the "Final Results of Review" section of this notice.

[top] On February 10, 2000, the U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce) published the CVD orders on CTL plate from Korea, India and Indonesia. 1 On February 1, 2023, Commerce initiated sunset reviews of the Orders, pursuant to section 751(c) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act). 2 Commerce

Commerce received adequate substantive responses from the domestic interested parties within the 30-day deadline specified in 19 CFR 351.218(d)(3)(i). 5 Commerce did not receive a substantive response from any government or respondent interested party to these proceedings. On March 23, 2023, Commerce notified the U.S. International Trade Commission that it did not receive an adequate substantive response from respondent interested parties. 6 As a result, pursuant to section 751(c)(3)(B) of the Act and 19 CFR 351.218(e)(1)(ii)(C)(2), Commerce determined that the respondent interested parties did not provide an adequate response to the notice of initiation and, therefore, conducted expedited (120-day) sunset reviews of the Orders.
