SUMMARY:

The Pacific Fishery Management Council's (Pacific Council) Highly Migratory Species Management Team (HMSMT) will hold a webinar, which is open to the public.

DATES:

The online meeting will be held on portions of 3 consecutive days: Monday, January 13, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.; and Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. All times are Pacific Standard Time.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

The purpose of this webinar is to continue development of the HMS Roadmap, in preparation for consideration at the March 2025 Pacific Council meeting. The HMS Advisory Subpanel is expected to attend the Tuesday, January 14 meeting to provide input related to the Roadmap. The HMSMT may consider other issues as appropriate.

Although non-emergency issues not contained in the meeting agenda may be discussed, those issues may not be the subject of formal action during this meeting. Action will be restricted to those issues specifically listed in this document and any issues arising after publication of this document that require emergency action under section 305(c) of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, provided the public has been notified of the intent to take final action to address the emergency.
