Take notice that on August 7, 2000, High Island Offshore Company, L.L.C. (HIOS), P.O. Box 2511, Houston, Texas 77252, tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised Volume 1, the revised tariff sheets listed in Appendix A. HIOS proposes that the foregoing tariff sheets be made effective September 1, 2000.
HIOS states that this filing is made to reflect changes relating to the implementation of a new Interactive Internet Website.
Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion tointervene or a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street,N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of theCommission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed inaccordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will beconsidered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but willnot serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings.
